I think this is a dell thing, but instead of just MS Gothic and MS Mincho, my fonts say:
"MS Gothic & MS PGothic & MS UI Gothic"
"MS Mincho & MS PMincho"
But Wakan won't recognize them as the font they represent. Is there a way to get Wakan to recognize? |

| Wakan won't recognize them automatically but that's not a problem, just select them in the Settings->Fonts screen. I recommend using "MS Mincho" for all settings except font for small text - there I recommend MS Gothic. For Chinese fonts, select MingLiU if you have it. |

Hmmm, didn't know there was that dialog, I was looking at my fonts folder. In that dialog, neither shows up on the list, only MS UI Gothic. At the beginning of the list, there's some messed up names that change the example text when you click on them and they might be foreign name fonts, but unsure.
Edit: Here's a screenshot.

| The messed-up fonts are probably fonts that have names in other code-pages and Wakan cannot recognize them. I suggest ignoring the scrambled fonts and selecting MS Gothic for everyting Japanese. |
